How We Prevent Quality Issues Before Your Garments Leave China
In international garment sourcing, quality problems rarely begin at the final inspection. Most defects are created much earlier—when standards are unclear, samples are rushed, materials are not properly checked, or production control points are missing.
At Bloomtex, we focus on prevention. Our quality management is built into every stage of development and production, so your garments leave China exactly as your brand expects—consistent, compliant, and retail-ready.
1) Quality starts with the sample
Before we cut bulk fabric, we make sure the approved sample truly represents your final product.
During sampling, our team verifies:
- Fabric performance:hand feel, weight (GSM), stretch/recovery, color accuracy
- Fit & measurement tolerance:graded size consistency and key points of measure
- Workmanship standard:stitch type, seam strength, finishing details
- Wash results:shrinkage, twisting, pilling risk, and appearance after laundering
Once the sample is approved, it becomes the master reference for production. Operators and QC inspectors work to the same benchmark—reducing interpretation errors and ensuring repeatability.
2) Fabric and trims are inspected before cutting
Many quality issues come from materials—not sewing. That’s why we check incoming fabrics and trims before they enter production.
We inspect:
- Shade consistencyacross dye lots and rolls
- Fabric defects(holes, barre, weaving/knitting faults, print issues)
- Elastic performance(stretch and recovery)
- Trim function(zippers, buttons, snaps, drawcord components, etc.)
Anything that fails standards is held or rejected before it can impact the production line.
3) Inline QC during production (not “after it’s too late”)
Instead of waiting until all garments are completed, our QC team checks items while they are being made, so issues are corrected immediately—not after hundreds of pieces are already sewn.
Inline checks focus on:
- Stitch accuracyand seam alignment
- Measurement stabilityacross the line and between bundles
- Pattern matching / print placementwhere required
- Construction detailsthat affect fit, comfort, and durability
This is one of the most effective ways to prevent bulk rework and inconsistent shipments.
4) Final inspection before packing and export
Before garments are packed and shipped, we run a full final inspection aligned with the approved sample and your packing requirements.
Final checks include:
- Measurements & grading verification
- Visual inspection:stains, holes, loose threads, damage, needle marks
- Labeling & packaging:care labels, hangtags, folding method, polybag rules
- Carton standards:carton marks, barcodes, assortment ratios, and sealing
Only goods that meet the approved standard are cleared for export.
5) We think like a brand—not just a factory
Our job isn’t only to make garments—it’s to protect your customer experience and brand reputation.
That means:
- We flag risks early (materials, construction, fit, compliance)
- We recommend better solutions when needed (fabric choices, seam methods, finishing)
- We communicate clearly and quickly—so problems don’t become expensive surprises
This “brand mindset” is a key reason many clients work with Bloomtex season after season.
